Minutes for Meeting 2953, Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 2412, Thursday November 1, 2018

Congratulate Elizabeth Femrite our TMoD with her theme “Fall Is Here….So Is Time Change!”

Business:

1. We have an opportunity for You! We need to fill 2 Open club officer positions: one is the VP Public Relations and the other is the Secretary. The position descriptions are:

Vice President Public Relations: As vice president public relations, you are responsible for coordinating an active public relations and publicity program. Your job is vital to the growth and success of the club; your efforts help to attract new members.

Secretary: As secretary, you are responsible for keeping clear and accurate records of club business, including membership records and correspondence with Toastmasters International’s World Headquarters and others.

Reminder, you may still be on the “Hot Seat” for last minute changes. Things change often, so when you are ready to give your speech, let the TM of the Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in! You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.
