3. Other Business – In the works

A. Lillian Wilkinson asked everyone to look at their progression as well as the Distinguished Club Plan goals to show how their progress is necessary to move us toward another year of being a President’s Distinguished Club

B. Demo Meeting in the works – The officers are working on setting up a Demo Meeting in an Army Office to provide a short TM meeting as well as an opportunity to bring in new members.

C. Anniversary Event – We are planning an event for our 61 1/2 birthday. More information to be forthcoming.

4. TLI’s for New Officers — Please see last training events available and please schedule yourself!

The office does require 2 hours of TM Leadership institute training that is scheduled in different places in the NCR during June-August.
The term of office is 6 months, July 1 – December 31. Please sign up for training and let us know when you have taken your training: – Check for additional training in District 36

5. Toastmasters International Conference signup – pick and choose what you would like to attend at the following site for Convention Information for Chicago in August 22-25:

So far Audrey Britton, Angela Vines-Crosson and Herman Raybon have signed up!

6. Speaker/Role SignUp – Just a reminder to fill out the signup sheet that goes around during the meeting for roles at future meetings. Please let our VP-E Lillian Wilkinson (soon to be Elizabeth Femrite) know when you wish to give your next speech.
You can also send our VP-Education an email indicating when you want to perform a specific role or when you are on leave…try to plan ahead. This helps the TM of the Day plan for the meeting.

Reminder, you may still be on the “Hot Seat” for last minute changes. Things change often, so when you are ready to give your speech, let the TM of the Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in! You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.

Distinguished Club Program — The more we do as individuals, the more goals our Club achieves. If you go to Club Central and go to Distinguished Club Program (DCP) reports, you can view the latest status of the goals for Helmsmen Toastmasters Club
