Minutes for Meeting 2900, Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 2412, Thursday October 5, 2017

1.The Division A Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contests will take place Wednesday, October 25th 6pm-8pm at Arlington Mill Community Center Room 252, 909 S Dinwiddie St, Arlington VA 22204

2. District 27 Fall Conference: Friday, November 10, 2017, 5pm – Saturday, November 11, 2017, 9pm at the Hyatt Centric Hotel, 1325 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22209.

3.NEXT WEEK! Helmsmen Toastmaster 60th Anniversary and Open House event will be held on October 12, 2017. Proceed to Fresh Kitchen for our 7:30am meeting 2901!

Reminder, you may still be on the “Hot Seat” for last minute changes. Things change often, so when you are ready to give your speech, let the TM of the Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in! You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.
