Congratulate Yash Sinha and Forte Ward for their 2nd place finish in the Area 11 Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contests

Congratulate Herman Raybon, Toastmaster of the Day, with the theme “Holi days and Special, Wacky Days”
Business:

1. It’s Contest Time!!!!

The Division A Humorous Speech and Table Topics Contests will take place Wednesday, October 25th.
More information to follow.

2. Club Dues is Due- please bring your dues to the meeting or make arrangements to pay them to Elizabeth Femrite, Herman Raybon or Carl Sabath. We want to make sure we make our club goal of getting dues in on time.

3. Meeting Roles were as follows
Lillian Wilkinson, VP Education, presided!

Herman Raybon was our Opener!

Herman Raybon was Toastmasters!

Audrey Britton had our Word of the Day – perspicuity — a noun meaning clear, lucid

Lillian Wilkinson, was our Grammarian!

Elizabeth Femrite was our timer!

Lillian Wilkinson was our Ah Counter!

Kim Winborne was our listener!

Carl Sabath was our Ballot Counter!

Carl Sabath was our Table Topics Master!

Kim Winborne was our Master Evaluator!

Congratulate Table Topic Speakers: Kim Winborne, Audrey Britton, Lillian Wilkinson and Elizabeth Femrite.

Best Table Topics speaker was Kim Winborne!

Herman Raybon provided the Closing!

Reminder, you may still be on the “Hot Seat” for last minute changes. Things change often, so when you are ready to give your speech, let the TM of the Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in! You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.
