Business

1. Next week’s TMoD is Tony Ballard, please contact Tony with your role
requests.

2. GET READY – IT’S CONTEST TIME! Spring brings International Speech
Contests and Evaluation Contests. Here is our contest schedule:
Area 11 Contests – Wed, Mar 8, Rm 4E983 — Support our International Speech
and Evaluation contestants at the Area 11 Contest.
Division A Contests – TBD
District 27 Contests Fri/Sat May 5/6

3. Dues is now( $50 is due) for April – September 2017 semester.
There are several ways to pay:
A – Please bring cash or check for $50
B – Credit card
1) Use your credit card to pay $45 TM International dues and provide
check/cash of $5 for the club dues
2) Use your credit card to pay full amount. Please add $2 PayPal fee, for a
total of $52

***Note if you are unable to attend the meetings, please make arrangement
to a) send a check by snail mail to Carl Sabath or b) meet Elizabeth Femrite
or Herman Raybon at a mutually convenient time.

4. Happy Birthday, Helmsmen Toastmasters!!! March 4, 2017 celebrates 60
years of Helmsmen TM. We will be planning HTM’s 60th Anniversary
celebration in March 2017! More information will be forthcoming in future
minutes.

5. Toastmasters Pathways – a special session will be provided on Wednesday,
March 15th, 4:30pm to Pentagon clubs. Jim Heeren, past District Governor
will be presenting the new TM Educational program highlights and answering
questions. This will also be held in Rm 4E983 thanks to Past District
Governor Ralph Jones.

6. TMoD Schedule. Please contact our VP-Education, Lillian Wilkinson to sign
up for future Toastmaster of the Day roles.

Reminder, you may still be on the “Hot Seat” for last minute changes. Things
change often, so when you are ready to give your speech, let the TM of the
Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in! You can
get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table Topics
Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately
following
the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in
your leadership book.

Distinguished Club Program – The more we do as individuals, the more goals
our Club achieves. If you go to Club Central and go to Distinguished Club
Program (DCP) reports, you can view the latest status of the goals for
