Business:

1. Next week, Thursday, April 14, Forté Ward will be our TM of the Day!
His theme is TBD. Let Forté know if you wish to speak or volunteer for a
role. If you prefer to use Easy-Speak, please identify your role early to
assist with the agenda preparation at helmsmen.easy-speak.org

2. Contests Continue!!! the Division A Contest, which will be held
Saturday, April 9, 2016 Contest starts at 1130. Set up 1000-1030,
registration 1030-1130, debriefs 1045-1130. Free parking available at

3. District 27 Conference to be held May 6-7, Holiday Inn, Solomons, MD.
Register at d27tm.org.

4. End of May/early June. Officer Elections. Start thinking about being
an officer for July 1 – December 31. Great leadership experience can be
yours.

5. Kelly Sargeant, (www.kellysargeant.com), who came in 3rd at the World
Championship of Public Speaking in 2014, will be at the Pentagon on August
16, 2016. She will be giving a presentation on her journey to the
International competition. There is also an event planned with Kelly during
the evening of August 16th at the Crowne Plaza National Airport in Crystal

6. TM International Convention, August 17-20, Marquis Hotel, Washington,
DC. Registration will start in April.

8. Dues!! We’re almost done. Carl Sabath club treasurer reminds is
collecting dues.
Semiannual dues is due for those renewing their memberships for April-
September. Dues is $45. Reminder that $36 goes to TM International and $9
goes to Helmsmen TM for supplies, holiday party, etc.

Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in! You can
get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table Topics
Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately following
the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in
your leadership book.
