Happy Birthday Helmsmen Toastmasters Club! Our Club turned 59 years old last week!

Business:

1. Next week, Thursday, March 17, Kim Winborne will be our TM of the Day! Please let Kim know if you wish to speak or volunteer for a role. If you prefer to use Easy-Speak, please identify your role early to assist with the agenda preparation. helmsmen.easy-speak.org

2. Thursday March 24, 2016 Bert Romero will be our TM of the Day!

3. Contests Continue!!! the Division A Contest, which will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 Contest starts at 1130. Set up 1000-1030, registration 1030-1130, debriefs 1045-1130. 4. District 27 Conference to be held May 6-7, Holiday Inn, Solomons, MD. Register at d27tm.org. Early Bird special ending soon.

5. End of May/early June. Officer Elections. Start thinking about being an officer for July 1 – December 31. Great leadership experience can be yours.

6. TM International Convention, August 17-20, Marquis Hotel, Washington, DC. Registration will start in April.

8. Dues!! It’s that time again. Carl Sabath club treasurer reminds is collecting dues. For those of you who have paid, THANK YOU.
Herman Raybon, Jr. and Elizabeth Femrite are helping Carl as he is at the Mark Center. Semiannual dues is due for those renewing their memberships for April- September. Dues is $45. Reminder that $36 goes to TM International and $9 goes to Helmsmen TM for supplies, holiday party, etc.

(Those who recently joined, your membership covers you from when you joined through March 31; this reminder is for membership dues which covers 1 Apr – 30 September 2016.)

We can always fit you in! You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.
