Good afternoon Helmsmen Toastmasters!!!!

Minutes for Meeting 2797, Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 2412, Thursday August
27, 2015

Welcome Jordan Gilmore, Daniel Galarza, and Rebecca McDaniel for being our
guests today. We hope you’ll decide to join Helmsmen Toastmasters!

Business:

1. New officers should take Toastmasters Leadership training and a schedule
of training events
is listed at the end of the minutes***** last training is this weekend,
please see below.

2. Lillian Wilkinson is the TMoD for our 3 September 2015 meeting.

3. September — Humorous Speech and Table Topics contests in our club.
Contest rules and dates will be sent out separately.

4. Renewal dues coming in September.

5. Easy-Speak tutorial attached. Ask Carmita Cooke our VP-Education, your
mentor, or one of the club officers if you have questions.

Nancy Bell was the Ah Counter

Nekisha Tate was our Timer!

Rebecca McDaniel was our Listener!

Jordan Gilmore was our Ballot Counter!

Elizabeth Femrite was our Tipster of the Day!

Forte Ward was our Table Topics Master

Lillian Wilkinson was our Master Evaluator!

It is the summer season and that you may be on the “Hot Seat” for last
minute changes. Things change often, so when you are ready to give your
speech, let the TM of the Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can
always fit you in! You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day,
Evaluator, and Table Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties.
During or immediately following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to
provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.

Distinguished Club Program — The more we do as individuals, the more goals
our Club achieves. If you go to Club Central and go to Distinguished Club
Program (DCP) reports, you can view the latest status of the goals for
Helmsmen Toastmasters Club
