1. REPEAT: Herman Raybon encouraged everyone to attend TLI whether you are a
officer or not; TLI dates attached.

2. REPEAT: Herman Raybon reported that the spring speaking contest is coming
up and
the District Spring Conference will be the 1st-2nd of May (Friday night and
Saturday) where the club winners will compete;
two weeks preceding the conference will be the Division contest —
thus we NEED club contestants!
The International Speech Contest this year will be in Las Vegas; last year
Jill and Yosh attended.

Start thinking about competing!!

Carl Sabath was our Opener!

Carl Sabath was our Toastmaster of the Day with the theme: “Super Heroes!”

Carlton Hart was the Wordsmith with the word of the
day: “germane”, (adjective) pertinent; having a pertinent connection

John Harms was our Grammarian!

Travis Herbranson was our Timer!

Jerrick Alexander was our Listener!

Latisha Ballance was our Ballot Counter!

John Harms was our AH-counter!

Latisha Ballance was our Tipster!

Carl Sabath was our Closer!

John Durish was our Table Topics Master!

Jerrick Alexander was our Master Evaluator!

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot Seat” for last minute changes.
Things change often, so when you are ready to give your speech, let the TM
of the Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in!
You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table
Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately
following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book.

Distinguished Club Program — The more we do as individuals, the more goals
our Club achieves. If you go to Club Central and go to Distinguished Club
Program (DCP) reports, you can view the latest status of the goals for
Helmsmen Toastmasters Club
