Minutes of Meeting 2761 Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 2412 Thursday 13 November
2014

Club Business:
1. Carmita Cooke announced that she will host the holiday party near Mt.
Vernon from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Saturday, 6 December 2014. We may do a round
of table topics. Everyone should bring a dish to share.

2. SAVE the DATE: TM Holiday Party on Thursday 18 December 2014 during our
normal TM meeting time 7:30-8:45am. The club will provide refreshments and
we ask that members bring a gift to exchange. The gift can be a re-gift or
something around $10 or less. Everyone including guests are welcome to
attend and participate. More information will be provided when details are
known.

Roles:

Lillian Wilkinson was our Presiding Officer!

Katelyn Kuehl was our Opener!

Ryan Harrell was our Toast Master of the Day with the theme
“The 90s” !

Elizabeth Femrite was our Wordsmith with the word of the day: “laconic”
Meaning: brief or terse word or expression (adj)!

Annika L’Ecuyer was our Grammarian!

Carmita Cooke was our Timer!

Kimberly Scott was our Listener!

Lillian Wilkinson was our AH-counter!

Sheila Heyward-Snipes was our Ballot Counter!

Carl Sabath was our Tipster!

Katelyn Kuehl was our Closer!

Jerrick Alexander was our Table Topics Master !

Ernie Davis was our Master Evaluator!

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot Seat” for last minute changes.
Things change often, so when you are ready to give your speech, let the TM
of the Day know even if you are not scheduled. We can always fit you in!
You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, and Table
Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately
following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book.

Distinguished Club Program — The more we do as individuals, the more goals
our Club achieves. If you go to Club Central and go to Distinguished Club
Program (DCP) reports, you can view the latest status of the goals for
