Minutes for Meeting 2745, Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 2412, Thursday July 24,

Welcome esteemed guest Brenda Hampton, HQDA, DCS G-1 Management Support
Office, Brenda.k.hampton2.civ@mail.mil. We hope you elect to become a
member!

A warm welcome back to COL Forte Ward who has been gone a year while he was
at the Eisenhower School! COL Ward works in OSD Policy.

Business:

1. Bert reported that the Legacy Toastmasters Club on Tuesday evening is
going well; Bert thanked everyone for their support and asked everyone to
continue to send people to the club.

2. Attached are future dates for TLI training at various locations and
times.

Roles:

Annette Sanks was our Presiding Officer!

Luke Lisell was our Opener!

Trudie Root was our Toast Master of the Day with the theme
“Laughter is Invaluable”

Carl Sabath was our Wordsmith with the word of the day: “Jocose” meaning
playful, humorous. (adjective)

Herman Raybon was our Grammarian!

Jerrick Alexander was our timer!

Brenda Hampton was our listener!

Luke Lisell was our AH-counter!

Annette Sanks was our Ballot Counter!

Elizabeth Femrite was our Tipster!

Trudie Root was our closer!

Bert Romero was our Table Topics Master with the theme of “Laughter”!

Jill Shanteau was our Master Evaluator!

Topics Master, Timer, and many of the other duties. During or immediately
following the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book.
