2012-12-06 Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 2412 Meeting 2666 Minutes

Good Morning Toastmasters,

Congratulate Yash Sinha! for delivering his 10th speech today and earning
the Toastmasters Competent Communicator designation.


1. Elections for new officers will be held on 13 December. Please let any
one of the current officers know if you are interested in holding one of the
positions. Club officer role descriptions are located on the website,

2. The holiday party will be held on Thursday December 20, 2012 during our
Toastmasters meeting 0730-0845. The format will be Table Topics “gift
exchange”. We’ll have catered food and encourage each person to bring a
wrapped gift. The gift can be a re-gift (aka white elephant) or something
purchased for $10.00 or less.

3. Carlton Hart will be Toastmaster of the Day next week Thursday, 13
December 2012.

Speakers on deck: Amy Hunt, Mike Quashne, and Jill Shanteau. If you are
ready to speak please notify Carlton Hart.

4. We will meet in room B7 in the Pentagon Library and Conference Center.

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot seat” for last minute changes.

Things change often so when you are ready to give your speech let the TM of
the Day know even if you aren’t “schedule.” We can always fit you in!

You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics
Master, Timer and many of the other duties. Right after the Meeting or
during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book. Distinguished Club Program – The More We
Do as Individuals, the More Goals Our Club achieves. If you go to club
central and go to Distinguished Club Program (DCP) reports, you can view the
latest status of the goals for Helmsmen Toastmasters club
