Good Afternoon Toastmasters,

Welcome guests Joan Allison, Annette Sanks, Monique Harris, Samay Thaboun,
and Kevin Kloeppel. We hope you’ll decide to become a member.

Congratulate Carlton Hart for completing his Competent Communicator manual
by delivering his 10th speech today!


1. Come out and support Herman Raybon, Jr. as he competes in the District
27 Fall Conference contest. The Conference will be held Saturday, 3
November 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Sunset Room at National
Harbor, 137 National Plaza, Suite 200, National Harbor, Oxon Hill, MD 20745.

2. Next Thursday, November 1, 2012, Toastmaster of the Day will be Lillian
Wilkinson and Master Evaluator will be Elizabeth Femrite.

Speakers on deck: Dan Krall, Cindy Minnifield, and Forte Ward. If you are
ready to speak please notify Lillian Wilkinson.

3. We will meet in room B1 (on the lower level) in the Pentagon Library and
Conference Center.

Congratulate Larry Curtin Speaker 1, with his speech, “Marine Corps Current
Issues” CC manual Project 2, Evaluated by Elizabeth Femrite

Congratulate Carlton Hart Speaker 2, with his speech, “Inspiration in a
Book” CC manual Project 10, Evaluated by Cindy Minnifield

Congratulate Herman Raybon, Jr. Speaker 3, with his speech, “A Day in The
Life….” Herman practiced his speech in preparation of the November 3,
2012 contest to be held at National Harbor.

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot seat” for last minute changes.

Things change often so when you are ready to give your speech let the TM of
the Day know even if you aren’t “schedule.” We can always fit you in!

You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics
Master, Timer and many of the other duties. Right after the Meeting or
during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book. Distinguished Club Program – The More We
Do as Individuals, the More Goals Our Club achieves.
