Good Afternoon Toastmasters,

Welcome guests Kevin Kloeppel, Samay Thaboun, Monique Harris, Iris Moore,
and Byron Tonic. We hope you’ll decide to become a member.

1. Lillian Wilkinson mentioned the highlights of the executive officers
meeting (minutes are attached.) The club is working toward meeting
Toastmasters goals and each member has the ability to help the club meet
those goals by completing speeches and fulfilling roles. Most recently, two
members have completed their manuals, which helps us meet some of the club

—-Congratulations Herman Raybon, Jr.! Herman completed the 10 speeches in
the competent communicator manual to achieve his CC designation.

—-Congratulations Mike Quashne! Mike completed the 10 projects in the
competent leadership manual to achieve his CL designation.

As you deliver a speech or fill a role, remember to give Mike Quashne our VP
Education your manual so he can record your duty. In this manner, Mike will
be able to assess the status of our club goals and will help Mike to assign
future roles on the assignment sheet.

2. Come out and support Herman Raybon, Jr. as he competes in the District
27 Fall Conference contest. The Conference will be held Saturday, 3
November 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Sunset Room at National
Harbor, 137 National Plaza, Suite 200, National Harbor, Oxon Hill, MD 20745.
