Greetings Toastmasters,

1) The Table Topics Contest and Humorous Speech Contest will be held in
September 6th and September 13, respectively. Our Table Topics Contest
Chair is Damien Butler and the Humorous Speech Contest Chair is Mike
Quashne. The contests are held during our normal club meeting time and
place. Please plan to attend.

2) We’ll meet in Room B7 on September 6, 2012 in the Pentagon Library and
Conference Center.

3) Carl Sabath is collecting dues. If you can’t get to Carl, contact
Herman Raybon, Jr. or Elizabeth Femrite to arrange a drop-off or pick-up.

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot seat” for last minute changes.

Things change often so when you are ready to give your speech let the TM of
the Day know even if you aren’t “scheduled.” We can almost always fit you

You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics
Master, Timer and many of the other duties. Right after the Meeting or
during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book.

Distinguished Club Program – The More We Do as Individuals, the More Goals
Our Club Achieves. If you go to club central and go to Distinguished Club
Program (DCP) reports, you can view the latest status of the goals for
Helmsmen Toastmasters club
