Good morning Toastmasters,

Welcome guests Kobe Owens, Randy Smith, Amy Hunt, Ron Fetherson, and Marissa
Gavaghan!  We hope you’ll decide to join our club!

Here’s a bit of Helmsmen Toastmasters trivia…Today is the 4th anniversary
of Helmsmen TM being back at the Pentagon!

Business:

1) Jim Adams our club President conducted an induction ceremony for our new
member:

—-Congratulations Larry Curtin!  You’re on your way to speak, think, lead
and listen better.

2) New officer elections to be held on 7 June 2012.  The next term is 1 July
thru 31 December.  If you are interested, please contact Carl Sabath or Jim
Adams as soon as possible.  Toastmasters provides free training for the
officer positions in the Jul/Aug timeframe at various locations and times.

3)  We’ll meet in Room B7 for the 7 June 2012 meeting in the Pentagon

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot seat” for last minute changes.

Things change often so when you are ready to give your speech let the TM of
the Day know even if you aren’t “scheduled.” We can almost always fit you
in!

You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics
Master, Timer and many of the other duties.  Right after the Meeting or
during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book.

Distinguished Club Program – The More We Do as Individuals, the More Goals
Our Club Achieves.  If you go to club central and go to Distinguished Club
Program (DCP) reports, you can view the latest status of the goals for
Helmsmen Toastmasters club
