Meeting 2638 Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 2412 Thursday May 17, 2012

Good morning Toastmasters,

Congratulate new members Dave Pope, Kim Caudle, and Larry Curtin!

Welcome guests Ron Fetherson, Greg Novak, and Damien Butler! We hope you’ll decide to join our club!


1) Herman Raybon attended the Spring Conference held at the Washington Navy Yard and heard some great speakers. Many Helmsmen TMs were recognized for their communication and leadership accomplishments during the year, especially our very own Earl White who received the Distinguished Toastmasters distinction. Congratulations to Earl White and congratulations Helmsmen!

2) We’ll meet in Room B10 for the month of May in the Pentagon Library and Conference Center.

3) We will be electing new officers in June/July and encourage all interested TMs in good standing to take an active role. More information will be provided at the next several meetings.

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot seat” for last minute changes.

Things change often so when you are ready to give your speech let the TM of the Day know even if you aren’t “scheduled.” We can almost always fit you in!

You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics Master, Timer and many of the other duties. Right after the Meeting or during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.
