Good afternoon Toastmasters,

Congratulate our newest members Cindy Minnifield and Miriam Michael!

Welcome guests Kim Caudle, Dave Pope, Yash Sinha, Larry Curtain, Marissa Gavaghan, and Damien Butler! We hope you’ll decide to join our club!

Congratulations to Mike Santivasci on completing his 10th speech and achieving his Competent Communicator designation!

Congratulations to Andrea Clark! Anton Vanterpool, Division A Governor,presented Andrea with the Area 11 Table Topics 1st place winner certificate and trophy.

Business:

1) Toastmaster of the Day for May 17, 2012 will be Mike Quashne our current VP Education.

2) We’ll meet in Room B10 for the month of May in the Pentagon Library and Conference Center.

3) The assignment sheet that was distributed during today’s meeting is attached. Please check your name for a designated role. New member names will be added very soon.

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot seat” for last minute changes.

Things change often so when you are ready to give your speech let the TM of the Day know even if you aren’t “scheduled.” We can almost always fit you in!

You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics Master, Timer and many of the other duties. Right after the Meeting or during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small evaluation in your leadership book.
