Good Afternoon Toastmasters,

Welcome our guests Joseph Godwin (guest of Carl Sabath), Alec Weck (guest of Steve Hill), Mark Holland (a former member of Helmsmen), and Bryan Pangle.  We hope you’ll decide to join our club!

Results of International Speech and Evaluation Contest:

Thanks to all contestants, judges, and role providers who participated to
make this contest successful!

Thanks to Charlie DeWitt our model speaker who gave an inspiration speech
for the Contestants to evaluate.

–Congratulate Mike Santivasci as the first place winner of the
International Speech Contest!  Mike’s speech was “Iwo Jima.”

–Congratulate Forte Ward as the second place winner of the International
Speech Contest! Forte’s speech was, “The Boogieman!”

–Congratulate Steve Hill for being “Bold” as third place winner of the International Speech Contest!

–Congratulate Dvija Malovic as the first place winner of the Evaluation
Contest!

–Congratulate Lillian Wilkinson as the second place winner of the
Evaluation Contest!

The Joint Area 11 and Area 13 Spring 2012 contest (International Speech and
Evaluation contests), hosted by the Assistant Area 11 Governor, Curt
Hellenbrand is from 6:30 pm (1830 hrs) to 9:30 pm (2130 hrs) on Wednesday,
28 March 2012 at the Aurora Hills Community Center, 735 18th Street South,
Arlington, VA 22202.  Plan to come out and support the contestants.

Business:

1)  We will meet in Room B1 in the Pentagon Conference Center on 15 Mar 12.

2) Membership Dues!  Carl Sabath will be handing out chocolates as dues are
paid.  The sooner you pay the more chocolate you will receive.

3)  Toast Master of the Day for 15 Mar 12 will be Earl White DTM.

Remember that you can always be on the “Hot seat” for last minute changes.

Things change often so when you are ready to give your speech let the TM of
the Day know even if you aren’t “scheduled.” We can almost always fit you
in!

You can get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics
Master, Timer and many of the other duties.  Right after the Meeting or
during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your  leadership book.

Our Club Achieves.  If you go to club central and go to Distinguished Club
