Congratulations with another great meeting!

Our meeting was led as TM of the Day-sub Earl White with the theme “Going

The agenda and theme were provided by Andrea Clark

Earl White provided the opening and Bert Romero provided the closing

Word of the Day: VERITY was provided by Sheila Heyward-Snipes

Grammarian/Ah Counter was Carl Sabath

Listener was Trudie Root

Timer was Bert Romero and Earl White

Speakers were Earl White who gave a speech whose objective was “Presenting
An Award”
From the Special Occasion Speeches manual

And Sheila Lane gave her 2nd speech to “Organize a Speech”
on “Jake the Cat” alias “Son of Satan”

Table Topics Master was Carl Sabath

Master Evaluator was: Bert Romero

We had 2 guests today Trudie Root and Sheila Heyward-Snipes!
Trudie works at the Pentagon Library and Sheila, former Helmsmen, retired
into Civilian life almost a year ago and now Works back on the Joint Staff

2. Duty Schedule sign up. We have a spreadsheet that goes around at the

meeting to indicate what role you would like to perform at each meeting.

Most importantly, we’d like you to let us know when you can give

your next speech. Help us plan and schedule our upcoming meetings.

3. Don’t forget to bring in your Speaker and Leadership manuals. You can

Get credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics

master, Timer and many of the other duties. Right after the meeting or

during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small

evaluation in your leadership book.

4. Guests

For those guests who wish to join in April, the dues are $56 which includes

your speaking and leadership books and your magazine subscription as well as

club dues. This covers you from April – September. In September all

renewing members pay $36 for October – March time frame.
