2010-03-18 Helmsmen Toastmasters Meeting 2533 Notes

Great meeting everyone!

Terry Bartholomew led as TM of the Day with the theme “What do you like
about Toastmasters?” He cited information
About different toastmaster types.

The meeting started with an Induction of 3 new members: Sheila Lane,
Nathalie Carey and Jay McColgan.

We also had 2 guests: Tanasha Hardy and Troy Pickens. We hope you can
continue to come to our meetings and sign up as Toastmaster members. If you
have questions about the TM program or dues, let us know.

Jay McColgan handed in his paperwork and became our newest Helmsmen
Toastmaster! Congratulations!

1. Next week, Thursday March 18. We’ll be in Room

3. Duty Schedule sign up. We have a spreadsheet that goes around at the
meeting to indicate what role you would like to perform at each meeting.
Most importantly, we’d like to DARE you to let us know when you can give
your next speech. Help us plan and schedule our upcoming meetings.

4. Don’t forget to bring in your Leadership manual. You can get, DARE I
say, credit for being Toastmaster of the Day, Evaluator, Table Topics
master, Timer and many of the other duties. Right after the meeting or
during the meeting, ask your fellow Toastmaster to provide a small
evaluation in your leadership book.
