Hi All,

Congratulations on another good meeting. Our theme today was “Surviving the
Arctic Blast” provided by Earl White.

Mike Santivasci gave his speech “Recruiting the Corps” using the Organize
Your Speech objective from the basic manual. Earl White

Table Topics winners were guest Derrick Ingle and Earl White.

Thanks go to

Carl Sabath for being Master Evaluator and for providing the word of the day
— INELUCTABLE — about 12 uses today.
Grammarian/Ah Counter was Kim Humes.

Table Topics were led by Andrea Clark and Timing was done by guest, Sheila
Lane.
Listening was led by Derrick Ingle.

Earl White also came up with a Tip for the Day.

Business:

1. Next meeting is January 21. Carl Sabath will be the TM of the Day. We
will be in Room B-2.

2. Officer induction is coming soon. Area A1 Governor must have gotten
stuck in traffic.

3. Plan ahead. Please use this time to think about how often you can
Give speeches and put yourself on the calendar to do so. Giving speeches and
performing different roles at the meeting is how we achieve our individual
and club speaking and leadership goals. Let me know when you can give your
next speech.

4. Also, don’t forget to bring your leadership book to the meeting. Varying
the roles you perform at meetings will help you earn Competent Leader
credit.

5. Please continue to invite members. The club is more energetic with more
members. More members bring in more ideas!

6. Officers Tiffany Daniel, Kim Humes and Carl Sabath will be attending
Toastmaster Leadership institute training this weekend. Terry Bartholomew
and Earl White have already attended.

7. The Club has met 3 out of 10 goals so far. 5 or 6 complete goals met
makes the club a Distinguished Club, 7 or 8 goals met make the club Select Distinguished and 9 or 10 goals met
make the club a President’s Select Distinguished Club. When you speak and lead you help meet your goals and the club’s goals!

Happy Speaking!

Carl
