Congratulate Herman Raybon our TMoD with his theme “Emotional Intelligence!” He shared with us five components of Emotional Intelligence: self-awareness, self-management, empathy, relationship management, effective communication

Business:
1. Helmsmen’s 62nd anniversary celebration will be the month of May with four Better Speaking Series presentations each Thursday between the 2nd and 23rd. We will have a contest for the member who brings in the most NEW guests during the 4 weeks in May. A prize of $25 in cash will be awarded after May 23rd. You can help by handing out flyers, invite your friends, co-workers, and others to attend.

2. Elections are coming up for new officers, TCBY.

3. See below for the list of Toastmasters of the Day (TMoD) – we need someone to be the TMoD on 23 May 2019 because Lillian Wilkinson won’t be in attendance.

1. Contest season is here
-Division Contest tonight, April 4th (Thursday).
-District 27 Conference International Speech and Evaluation Contests will be held Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th. The conference is Al Carte, you can attend the sessions as your schedule permits.
2. TMoD for next week (April 11th) is Kelly Craft.
